Memory loss which disrupts daily life

Challenges in planning or problem solving

Difficulty completing familiar tasks/like setting the table

Confusion or disorientation with time or place-getting lost in a familiar place

Trouble understanding visual images or special relationships

New problems with words in speaking & writing

Misplacing things or losing the ability to replace steps

Decreased or poor judgment

Withdraw from work or social activities

Changes in mood or personality which may include mood swings, anxiety, fear or paranoia

Repetitive Behaviors or behaviors that are out of character for that person/swearing, loss of inhibitions

In later stages…..

Anger, agitation, verbal or physical outbursts, sleep disturbances, delusional thinking, hallucinations, may not recognize loved ones, or even themselves.
