“CARING FOR AGING LOVED ONES”?

This class will be held Sat., Oct. 20, 9:00am-Noon and is for anyone who wants to be prepared to care for an aging loved one!  We will discuss the many alternatives available in senior care (In-Home Care, Assisted Living, Residential Care, Skilled Nursing, Palliative Care, Hospice…); how they differ, what it costs, how to pay for it & what to look for when exploring these options. Dementia & ideas to calm challenging behaviors will be discussed in length. The class will also be self-directed by questions of the participants.  Resource information will be available for veteran’s assistance, caregiver support groups & many other pertinent topics.  Class fee is $29.  Preregistration required.  Register online at Placer School for Adults at www.placeronline.org.
